Welcome to Atchison Cottage and Preschool Long Day Care Centre!

At Atchison Cottage and Preschool, they provide a high-quality learning environment, where the children are encouraged to experiment, explore and most importantly, learn through their play experiences. Through a secure, safe and nurturing environment, the children will learn who they are, and build positive self-esteem and relationships.

Atchison Cottage and Atchison Preschool, are two sister Centres, located alongside each other.  The management teams within both Centres work collaboratively to ensure consistency between the two Centres.

Both Atchison Cottage and Atchison Preschool have unique heritage timber buildings which have been sympathetically converted into an early learning centre.

Atchison Cottage caters for 65 children per day. This Centre has a cosy home environment with six separate learning environments to maintain small grouping and is very much suited to the 6 weeks to 3.5 years age group.

Atchison Preschool caters for 29 children per day. This Centre has more of a classroom feel, working to prepare children for their transition to school.  This Centre has two separate classrooms which allow for small grouping but also offers the flexibility for larger group experiences which aids in children's preparation for school.  The Preschool is very much suited to the 3-6 years group.
