Belconnen Early Childhood Centre

Conveniently located on Level 3 of Belconnen Westfield, Belconnen Early Childhood Centre is an open-plan, play-based centre that accommodates up to 45 children.

We provide much more than childcare. Our mission is to create an inclusive, secure and respectful childhood environment that empowers children to explore their passions, form nurturing, trustworthy relationships, and reach their fullest potential through a child-led educational approach.

With our warm and inviting spaces, Belconnen Early Childhood Centre sparks children's natural sense of curiosity and wonder to explore and learn at their own pace. We offer a comprehensive curriculum, experienced Educators and a multicultural community, providing excellent value for money.

In addition to our academic curriculum, we nurture children’s social and emotional growth, creativity and physical well-being, to help them become confident, well-rounded individuals.

We care about the whole family, not just the children who attend our services. We actively involve parents in their child's learning journey and encourage open communication and collaboration between Educators and families, to create a supportive network that fosters a strong bond between home and the centre.

As part of Capital Region Community Services, a not-for-profit community service organisation that has been in the Belconnen region for nearly 50 years, we know the power of community and pride ourselves on making a difference. We offer flexible part-time and full-time programs to suit your schedule. We also offer occasional care options for parents and carers requiring care while they are shopping.
