Welcome to Bundaberg Early Learning Centre! We are conveniently located for families living in Bundaberg West, Millbank, Avoca, Kensington, and Branyan.
Bundaberg Early Learning Centre is a homely early learning centre that offers early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old. We have an amazing team of passionate teachers and educators. Our team is dedicated to ensuring every child feels safe, nurtured and inspired throughout their education journey. From planning adventure filled experiences, to building children’s self-confidence and resilience, right up until a child’s transition to ‘ big school’.
Children and teachers grow and learn together in our resource rich learning environments. Our centre boasts engaging outdoor spaces that contain a vegetable garden, native garden, bike track and also three play spaces that span over our three age groups.
In our indoor facility we have a separate building for Kindergarten with their own interactive whiteboard and various natural resources to explore critical thinking. Kindergarten program participates in the ELLA program where they learn Spanish. Class set of iPads to offer technology integration along with their individualised ELLA application.
Our team
The quality of our centre is underpinned by the quality of our people. At the heart of our centre is our longstanding staff of educators. Many of the staff have been at the service for over ten years. We pride ourselves on our team culture and offer a different experience that is unique and personalised. We offer full transparency and help to make families feel comfortable and confident to leave their children in our hands. At our centre we have a very culturally diverse team of educators and we also make sure to incorporate the families into the daily environment.
We know each child is an individual with unique talents and interests. Our team is passionate about their profession and truly wants your child to succeed in discovering their identity as confident, happy and resilient learners.Parents receive daily updates and photos detailing their child's learning and development from our easy to use parent app.
Partnering with families
Relationships are key to delivering the best possible learning opportunities for your child. Our Educators and teachers develop strong bonds with the children and their families. We view a child's early education as an extension of the learning occurring at home. Therefore, we believe a successful early learning journey needs a good partnership. We pride ourselves on working together with our families to achieve the best possible outcomes for their child. We welcome your involvement and that Involvement will look different for different families.
Exploring the community
We offer a range of experiences to help children learn about their local community. We often have visits from wakka boy, future champs, and other community services to help expand the children’s learning. We also have excursions to our local park and local primary school to assist our Kindergarten/ Preschool children with their transition to ‘big school’.
