About Community Kids Greenacres Early Education Centre

Welcome to Community Kids Greenacres! We are conveniently located for families living in Windsor Gardens, Hampstead Gardens and Hillcrest in Greater Adelaide.

We have an amazing team of passionate teachers and educators. Our team is dedicated to ensuring every child feels safe, nurtured and inspired throughout their education journey. From planning adventure filled experiences, to building children’s self-confidence and resilience, right up until a child’s transition to ‘ big school’.

Children and teachers grow and learn together with our resource rich learning environments. Our centre boasts three separate outdoor areas, which allows the children to have plenty of room to move around. In the Kindy Yard we have a large play fort, and the babies/toddler yard has a small age appropriate slide, to allow the younger children to explore safely.

At Community Kids Greenacres all age groups have access to their own individual outdoor play spaces. Outdoor play areas include plenty of space for the children to learn and explore, including a bike track, large sandpits, climbing forts and vegetable garden

We offer a homely feel within our rooms through soft furnishings, dining tables within the rooms to enjoy meals together, designated learning areas, small class sizes.

Children and teachers grow and learn together with our resource rich learning environments. These spaces are specifically designed to ignite curiosity and encourage exploration.

Our team

our centre is underpinned by the quality of our people. At the heart of the centre is the longstanding team of educators with some staff being at the centre for over 10 years. As a smaller centre, this provides for wonderful ongoing relationships with children and families.

We are also proud to say that over 50% of our staff speak multiple languages, allowing children to be exposed to a wide range of cultures.

We know each child is an individual with unique talents and interests. Our team is passionate about their profession and truly wants your child to succeed in discovering their identity as confident, happy and resilient learners. Parents receive daily updates and photos detailing their child's learning and development from our easy to use parent App.

Partnering with families

Relationships are key to delivering the best possible learning opportunities for your child. Our Educators and teachers develop strong bonds with the children and their families. We view a child's early education as an extension of the learning occurring at home. Therefore,  we believe a successful early learning journey needs a good partnership. We pride ourselves on working together with our families to achieve the best possible outcomes for their child. We welcome your involvement and that Involvement will look different for different families.

Exploring the community

We offer a range of experiences to help children learn about their local community. We often have visits from the local nursing home, ambulance services and the local school to help expand the children’s learning. We also have excursions to our local park and local primary school to assist our Kindergarten/ Preschool  children with their transition to ‘big school’.
