Community Kids Murray Bridge Early Education Centre is a homely built early learning centre that offers early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old. We have an amazing team of passionate teachers and educators. Our team is dedicated to ensuring every child feels safe, nurtured and inspired throughout their education journey. From planning adventure filled experiences, to building children’s self-confidence and resilience, right up until a child’s transition to ‘ big school’.
Children and teachers grow and learn together, in our resource rich learning environments. Our centre boasts engaging outdoor spaces including a large sandpit and sustainable garden beds that the children use to grow vegetables in the over 2’s yard. Our baby's yard is fully undercover with a swing and our toddler yard has a slide surrounded by a native garden and a sandpit.
Our team
The quality of our centre is underpinned by the high quality long standing staff, with some of the staff having been at the centre for 5 years or more. One of our educators comes from the Phillipines and speaks Visayaian. Most of our educators are very sporty and love the outdoors. They are all lovely caring educators who build positive long lasting relationships with the children in their rooms so they feel a sense of being safe, secure and supported in their room environments across the centre.
We know each child is an individual with unique talents and interests. Our team is passionate about their profession and truly wants your child to succeed in discovering their identity as confident, happy and resilient learners. Parents receive daily updates and photos detailing their child's learning and development from our easy to use parent App.
Partnering with families
Relationships are key to delivering the best possible learning opportunities for your child. Our Educators and teachers develop strong bonds with the children and their families. We view a child's early education as an extension of the learning occurring at home. Therefore, we believe a successful early learning journey needs a good partnership. We pride ourselves on working together with our families to achieve the best possible outcomes for their child. We welcome your involvement and that Involvement will look different for different families.
Exploring the community
We offer a range of experiences to help children learn about their local community. We often have visits from Moorundi Aboriginal Health who come to the centre to teach the children about Aboriginal culture and other community services will come to visit to help expand the children’s learning. We also have excursions to our local park and local primary school to assist our Kindergarten/ Preschool children with their transition to ‘big school’.
