About Community Kids Victoria Point Early Education Centre

Welcome to Community Kids Victoria Point! We are conveniently located for families living in Victoria Point, Redland Bay and Thornlands.

Community Kids Victoria Point is a homely early learning centre that offers early education and  care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old. We have an amazing team of passionate teachers and educators. Our team is dedicated to ensuring every child feels safe, nurtured and inspired throughout their education journey. From planning adventure filled experiences, to building children’s self-confidence and resilience, right up until a child’s transition to ‘ big school’.

Children and teachers grow and learn together, in our resource rich learning environments. Our centre boasts engaging outdoor spaces, specifically  designed to ignite  curiosity and encourage exploration. Our outdoor facilities include a large shaded playground to ensure that the children are being sunsmart when outside and a plethora of natural elements at the children’s disposal. Our indoor facilities contain large rooms for all the children, updated equipment and excellent resources for the children to utilise in their learning process.

Our team

The quality of our centre is underpinned by the quality of our people. At the heart of the centre is our longstanding team of educators that we have at the centre. All of our educators at the centre are tremendously caring, incredibly experienced within the industry and up to date with all regulatory requirements. Our educators take great pride in seeing the children grow and develop.

We know each child is an individual with unique talents and interests. Our team is passionate about their profession and truly wants your child to succeed in discovering their identity as confident, happy and resilient learners.Parents receive daily updates and photos detailing their child's learning and development from our easy to use parent App.

Partnering with families

Relationships are key to delivering the best possible learning opportunities for your child. Our Educators and teachers develop strong bonds with the children and their families. We view a child's early education as an extension of the learning occurring at home. Therefore,  we believe a successful early learning journey needs a good partnership. We pride ourselves on working together with our families to achieve the best possible outcomes for their child. We welcome your involvement and that Involvement will look different for different families.

Exploring the community

We offer a range of experiences to help children learn about their local community. We often have visits from the local high school students, the elderly from the local nursing home, and other community services to help expand the children’s learning. The students come to the centre to partake in activities with the children and then the children will go to the school fortnightly to complete some activities around the school. Our centre also does nursing home visits where the children will go and visit the nursing home or they will come to the centre and do some activities.  We also have excursions to our local park and local primary school to assist our Kindergarten/ Preschool  children with their transition to ‘big school’.
