Ekidna is a family owned & operated childcare centre that is committed to providing high quality care for children. We are filled with dedicated educators/teachers who value building strong collaborative relationships with the children and families.

The children's individual needs are met through our child-led program that allows us to extend on their ideas, interests, imagination and strengths. We highly value the importance of children being offered experiences that will assist them to strive and develop to their best of their abilities.
We offer a high quality pre-school readiness program in our 3-5yrs classes, ensuring the children are given the best head start to their education. However we believe in building the children's self help skills, emotional regulation and confidence from the moment they start, transition through the classes to the moment they take the big leap to Big School.

We have a strong connection to the community. You will often see us out and about exploring, as well as engaging in exciting incursions at the service!

Our service has a passion for caring for our environment, our gardens are an attribute to the children taking responsibility and caring for them. They share such joy cooking & sending their harvests home.

We offer a nutritious menu for Morning tea, Lunch and Afternoon tea. We cater to allergies and cultural requirements. All of our food is cooked fresh on site by our amazing centre cook with the children giving a hand at times. 

Included in the daily fee's are: Meals, nappies, wipes, bed linen & sunscreen.
