About Greenwood Early Education Rowville

Welcome to Greenwood Rowville! Our early learning and long day care centre offers childcare for families living or commuting through Rowville, Dandenong North, Endeavour Hills, Waterford Park and Scoresby. You’ll find us just off the Eastlink (M3) down the road from Stud Park Shopping Centre and Wellington Village Shopping Centre.

As soon as you enter our resource rich centre, you’ll be exposed to a world where children are encouraged to discover, learn and grow. Our natural outdoor areas include a large cubby house, sandpits, bike tracks and vegetable gardens to engage all the senses.

Children are offered uninterrupted time and space for play as they discover the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. The outdoors supports the overall well-being of the children.

Our team is dedicated to ensuring every child feels safe, nurtured and inspired throughout their education journey. From planning adventure filled experiences to building children’s self-confidence and resilience, right up until a child’s transition to ‘big school’.

Children and teachers grow and learn together with our resource rich learning environments. The children also participate in Art and Sensory experiences at all times in the outdoor environments at the centre. These spaces are specifically designed to ignite curiosity and encourage exploration.

Our team

The quality of our centre is underpinned by the quality of our people. At the heart of the centre is the longstanding, multicultural team of educators, some of whom also speak Mandarin and Cantonese.  We know each child is an individual with unique talents and interests. Our team is passionate about their profession and truly wants your child to succeed in discovering their identity as confident, happy and resilient learners. Parents receive daily updates and photos detailing their child's learning and development from our easy to use Parent app.

Partnering with families

Relationships are key to delivering the best possible learning opportunities for your child. Our Educators and teachers develop strong bonds with the children and their families. We view a child's early education as an extension of the learning occurring at home. Therefore, we believe a successful early learning journey needs a good partnership. We pride ourselves on working together with our families to achieve the best possible outcomes for their child. We welcome your involvement and that involvement will look different for different families.

Exploring the community

We offer a range of experiences to help children learn about their local community. We often have visits from aged care residences, paramedics and the local school to help expand the children’s learning. We also have excursions to our local park and local primary school to assist our Kindergarten children with their transition to ‘big school’.

Greenwood Rowville is an exceptional service delivering quality care and programs to all the children who attend. My daughter attended Greenwood Rowville from 8 months of age and has just had her last day at age 5.5, as she will be attending school. The staff create strong relationships with the children in the care and families are made to feel very welcome when entering the building and interacting with educators. My daughter was always excited to attend her days at Greenwood and has made some lasting friendships on her time there. Special mention to Tamara whose care and support meant so much to us through our years at Greenwood, she made such a lasting impression on Indigo and she will be a friend to her for life. I cannot recommend Greenwood Rowville highly enough and as a Kindergarten teacher myself, I recognise when a service is doing a great job and Greenwood exceeded all my expectations over the years. Thank you to Leah and all the staff at Greenwood.
