Established in 1992 and celebrating its 21st birthday in 2013, Joondalup Early Learning Centre has become an integral part of the Joondalup community. Renowned for its reputation as an innovative and successful Community Early Childhood organization, we are dedicated to providing high-quality Education and Care to children and families both locally and from afar.

Nestled within the Edith Cowan University Campus, we extend a warm welcome to the wider community. Situated in the heart of the city’s esteemed ‘Learning Precinct,’ our aim is to exemplify a top-tier ‘Early Childhood Program.’ This program places significant emphasis on the crucial years of learning and development, spanning from 0 to 5, and is achieved through the strong interplay of four essential pillars: Staff, Families, Children, and Community. We aspire to create a place where children can Be, Belong, and Become.

Here, children have the opportunity to learn, grow, develop, and, most importantly, have fun. These ideals have been ingrained in our philosophy since our inception. We decided early on the kind of environment we wanted to provide, one where children could thrive in collaboration with dedicated staff, families, and the wider community.

The induction of the Australian National Quality Framework and EYLF in 2012 affirmed and validated our goals, objectives, and commitment to creating an environment tailored for children's growth and development. Joondalup Early Learning Centre, affectionately known as JELC, stands as a testament to our dedication to the well-being and future success of every child entrusted to our care.
